For skincare to be sustainable , it has to be affordable. If you understand the basics of what a skin requires, you will be able to build a skin care routine on a budget.

Acne prone skin requires ingredients which help in controlling sebum production along with oil free moisturiser

✅Cleanser :
Look for ingredients like salicylic acid , glycolic or mandelic acid which helps in gentle exfoliation and controls excess sebum.

✅Serum:
▪️A salicylic acid serum works well for oily acne prone skin.
❌Avoid vitamin C serum in active acne
▪️niacinamide serum is also a good option in control both sebum production and acne eruption. It is more gentle than salicylic acid and will suit sensitive skin types as well

✅Moisturiser
Light gel based moisturiser preferably with ceramides or hyaluronic acid work well in acne prone skin.
If you have very oily skin you can skip the moisturiser in the morning and apply sunscreen instead. At night, you must use a moisturiser even if skin looks oily.

✅Use a gel based sunscreen
Gel based sunscreens are light weight, spread easily and don’t feel heavy on the skin. Reapply every 3 hourly for it to be effective.

  2. Mam i jave watched all videos related to skin. I confused what to use ,facing acne issues last 5 years .kindly resolve. I am ready visit your clinic ,if my acne get cured.

  3. Hey doctor whenever i have used this ponds light gel it was never light for me , it always causes redness and irritation in eyes 😢

  4. Ma’am
By putting all my faith on you I have placed the order. Hope will not be disappointed. I will surely share my experience after using these products. ❤

  5. The ponds gel cream is not suitable for acen prone skin I have tried it and it worsened my skin. Wouldn’t recommend it.

  6. Please don’t use the Pond’s moisturizer if you have acne-prone skin because certain ingredients are highly comedogenic. I’ve used this moisturizer and it broke me out like shit. Instead opt for the minimalist vitamin B5 10% moisturizer, AcMist moisturizer, or Acne-OC moisturizer (the last two products contain fragrance. So if you have sensitive skin or if you don’t want fragrance in your product, you can skip those). I can’t understand how a person who claims to be a dermatologist would recommend a comedogenic product for people with acne-prone skin.

  7. Dont use apply anything on your skin
If you have acne leave it only use water
Do not use water acne cream let your skin free

  8. Been using this for one month for acne and acne scars doesn’t work my acne has increased and I’m so stressed

  9. Make same for hyper pigmentation and dark spots please mam I have hype pigmentation around my mouth love your videos

  10. Ponds super light gel has stearic acid, which can cause acne break outs. Use with caution.
I used and it did f.. my skin

  11. Today i get all these products online. So now, i will use it and give my review every week maybe someone find it helpful. I have oily and acne prone skin, also i have active acne and before i never did skincare. Let get started…
